ABOUT THE ROLE

The main responsibilities for the Billing Specialist is to review and optimise billing in the technology/telco space in accord with contractual obligations. The successful candidate will provide direct hands-on cost control support for portfolios under the disciplines works program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer technology-related Enterprise-wide billing services including but not limited to Telco, Microsoft, Citrix and Printing
  • Develop and coordinate standard cost control procedures, guidelines, templates, coding etc. to allow consistent cost management and reporting across telco and technology related portfolios.
  • Create and maintain cost reports, budgets and forecasts throughout the technology disciplines to assist Asset Management strategy
  • Utilise standard cost control procedures and processes including monthly report, change control, management of budgets, forecasting, financial support relating to contract administration and project cost close out to help ensure a consistent approach across the OCMS portfolio.
  • Assist Technology Operations Managers in decision making by constantly monitoring budget and expenditure changes, as well as providing regular updates of project status.
  • Assist provision of adequate information flow to Portfolio Managers around budgets, expenditure, forecasts and progress to accommodate decision making.

ABOUT YOU

  • Qualification in Project Management, Finance/Business and/or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project cost control, finance, business administration or contract administration
  • High level of experience in using Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Experience providing service across multiple business areas in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate for key outcomes
