About the role
We are currently looking for Project Coordinator to join our Project SERQA Team at Metro Trains. The ProjectCoordinator will provide administrative support to the Project SERQA Team across all aspects of Safety, Environment, Risk, Quality, Assurance and Project Management. In this role, you will work across the wider SERQA team and provide support where required.

Accountabilities
The key responsibilities of a Project Administrator will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare high quality reports and presentations for the SERQA Team;
- Coordinate meetings and undertake tasks including minute taking and coordination of actions;
- Provide support as necessary for Project Management Office tools and reporting including but not limited to Projects Portfolio Management Tool, Projects Knowledge Centre, SharePoint, Excel and Power BI;
- Provide support for key governance forums including the Monthly Business Review and Projects Assurance Panel.
- Organise events such as team meetings, workshops, Community of Practice sessions and Lunch and Learns;
- Coordination of training/change management activities for revised/new processes within Projects, including support in the designing and drafting of training material and coordination of training sessions;
- Support Safety reporting for the Head of Rail Safety as required.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification or certificate in Business Management desirable but not essential
- Experience in a similar role with an emphasis on supporting a Project Team
- Experience in senior administration including data analysis and high-level reporting
- Experience in process evaluation and designing improved processes in SharePoint
- Experience in the application of the various Microsoft software packages, specifically MS PPM, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Power BI
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability and self-confidence to liaise effectively with all levels of management and staff levels
