About the role:
As our Signalling Team continues to expand with the introduction of high-capacity Metro Trains, we’re seeking motivated, pro-active, and enthusiastic qualified Signal Maintenance Technician to perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks across our diverse network.
Embracing change and demonstrating leadership skills should be at the forefront of your mind, as you’ll be driving performance through efficient use of recourses and commitment to quality outcomes.
You’ll install, repair and modify signalling equipment and infrastructure, and will be joining MTM at an exciting time as we expand and integrate more new and exciting projects, such as the Metro Tunnel Project!
Please note: This position is working permanent night shifts. Only qualified Signal Maintenance Technicians will be considered for this role.
Responsibilities Include:

Attend to fault rectification tasks as allocated by Fault Officers,

Enter data to fault and maintenance management systems.

Install, repair and modify signalling equipment and infrastructure.

Advise at design stage on signalling projects impacting on Signal Maintenance activities.

Undertake complex and diverse maintenance of signalling equipment and systems.

Test and investigate signalling equipment and systems for compliance.

Manual work associated with the installation and maintenance of signalling equipment.
About you:
-
Certificate IV In Railway Signalling – mandatory.

First Aid and CPR certified.

Sound experience of train operating rules/procedures in relation to the functioning of signalling infrastructure.

Extensive knowledge and skills necessary to carry out a diverse range of technical duties within the Signals Maintenance Group.
