About the role
In the Medic role you will be supporting the Safety Manager on the delivery of an Iron Ore project in the Pilbara region of WA working an 8/6 roster from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond and coordinate all emergency situations onsite.
- Delivery of emergency, fire and first aid training on site.
- Carry out all activities in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant legislation.
- Manage and maintain onsite stock, emergency vehicles, devices and equipment.
- Provide medical care to employees.
- Promote and support site Health and Safety initiatives.
About you
- Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the mining resource industry.
- Possess a Tertiary qualification as a Paramadic or Nurse.
- Hold a Certificate III Mines Emergency Response and Rescue.
- Have a Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Care.
- Prior experience as an ERT Member or proven experience coordinating ERT activities and training.
- Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Excel and Word).
