About us

View website

MinRes is a leading diversified resources company with extensive operations in lithium, iron ore, energy and mining services across Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland.

Our people – who bring their passion, their devotion, and their determination to work every day – are the bedrock of all our successes. We foster a culture that embraces individuality, and with more than 8,000 team members, that’s a seriously diverse mix.

We celebrate the people, from all walks of life, who have made significant contributions to our business. It’s the eclectic range of work and life experience that helps create a culture of acceptance and a unified sense of ambition.

No matter their location or role our people are respected and listened to. It’s all about being part of the MinRes family.

Everyone is welcome

Our policy for diversity and inclusion is comprehensive, but it can be summed up in three words: everyone is welcome.

We are a family, which means the care and respect we have for one another is equal, always. We want all our people to bring their true selves to work and expect total acceptance.

Individuality is encouraged; we want all our employees to know they are welcomed into a safe space every day. A space where we have zero tolerance for harassment and discrimination.

An industry-leading employee experience

We’re leading the industry in how we’re caring for our people and the environments that we put them in. From our state-of-the-art corporate headquarters right through to our remote mine sites.

Our state-of-the-art headquarters puts the health and well-being of our people at its core. The building is targeting the highest level of certification from the globally recognised WELL Standard rating system and holds the highest sustainability rating from the international Green Star rating system.

To support employees, our on-site GP and Wellness Centre offers a variety of free everyday healthcare services.

Next Level Gym features a state-of-the-art 800m2 fitness facility, a wide range of fitness classes, immaculate equipment and highly experienced trainers.

Benny’s Restaurant offers a mouth-watering selection, including Asian wok, western grill, pasta and a New York salad bar, plus a grab-and-go selection featuring fresh sushi, poke bowls, sandwiches and dessert. Take-home meals are also available to order.

Alba Café offers a fresh approach to all things coffee and food, whether it’s a healthy coconut chia pudding, house-made granola, freshly baked pastry, or roll, wrap or nourish bowl.

NextGen Creche provides short-term ad-hoc care for children aged between 8 weeks to 12 years old. We’re excited to soon open a childcare facility, offering high-quality care for up to 130 children at a highly subsidised price for MinRes employees working on-site at our Osborne Park locations.

At MinRes, mental health is as important as physical health. We offer in-house psychology and counselling services for individuals and families, plus mental health education.

Resort-style FIFO accommodation villages

We’re rewriting the rulebook when it comes to mining camp life, rolling out resort-style accommodation villages across our long-life mines, starting with our Onslow Iron project.

Resorts will feature an Olympic-size swimming pool, fitness centre, café, recreation building, and outdoor sports facilities. Each apartment-like room spans 45 square metres of living space – three times the size of traditional FIFO accommodation. Featuring a queen-sized bed, separate ensuite, laundry with washer and dryer, kitchenette, lounge, big screen television with video call function, and a balcony.

These camps aim to set a new standard for FIFO accommodation by encouraging women and supporting couples, promoting employee health and wellbeing, and creating a safe working environment, and a thriving community.

Empowering female leadership

We’re committed to promoting greater gender balance across our workforce, ensuring all women, regardless of seniority level, have a positive experience and opportunities to progress their careers.

Our Inspire Female Leadership Program is a six-month program that brings together frontline female leaders from across our operations and supports them to develop their pillars of success, personal brand, relationships and performance.

Hear what some of our leaders have to say about their experience in the program:
