Electrician – Non-Process Infrastructure

We are seeking an experiencedElectricianto join the team atIron Valley, based out of Newman. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), supporting the safe, reliable operation of critical site services.
This role is ideal for a practical, solutions-focused electrician with strong experience ingenerator maintenance and fault-finding, along withbore pump systemsand wider NPI electrical infrastructure.
The role
Reporting to the NPI Supervisor, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment across site NPI assets.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on NPI electrical infrastructure
Diagnosing and repairing faults on diesel generators, generator control systems and associated switchgear
Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing bore pumps, water supply systems and associated electrical controls
Working across camp, village, workshop, communications, water, power generation and other site-services infrastructure
Completing electrical installations, testing, commissioning and compliance checks
Responding to breakdowns efficiently to minimise disruption to critical site services
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety requirements, electrical standards and maintenance procedures
Accurately recording maintenance activities, inspections and work completed in the site maintenance system
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset reliability and safety
