  • Collect, validate and QA/QC groundwater data, loggers and telemetry, and maintain bore databases and GIS datasets.
  • Complete scheduled dips, bore checks and inspections, including seepage inspections and downhole camera work.
  • Support drilling and aquifer testing programmes, including contractor coordination, approvals and data QA/QC.
  • Prepare site water reports, support modelling, TARPs and compliance submissions, and coordinate with Operations, Environment and technical teams.

What is required?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geology or a related field
  • Experience or exposure to groundwater monitoring, bore field operations or mine dewatering within a mining or resource project context.
  • Sound understanding of groundwater data collection, QA/QC processes, and telemetry/SCADA systems.
  • Working knowledge of WA water legislation, licensing and regulatory frameworks, including DWER protocols, is highly regarded.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating drilling and aquifer testing programmes, including field data collection and QA/QC.
  • Ability to interpret and apply hydrogeological data and monitoring trends to support operational decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity, with a methodical approach to field work and reporting.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across Operations, Maintenance, Environment and technical teams.
