MECHANICAL FITTERS | FIFO 3:1 | VARIOUS PROJECTS AND SITES
Mineral Resources (ASX: MIN) is one of Australia's fastest-growing diversified resources companies. Our operations span lithium, iron ore, energy and mining services across Western Australia. We back people who think differently, back themselves under pressure, and get the job done right.
We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a range of upcoming construction projects. This is FIFO ex-Perth on a 3:1 roster, days, permanent full-time.
Why 3:1?
A 3:1 roster gives you more days on site each swing than a 2:1. More days on site means more hours, more shift allowance and a bigger pay packet at the end of the swing. You spend less time in airports and more time earning. If you've stuck with a 2:1 out of habit, work out what a 3:1 would put in your pocket.
On our construction projects, you will be involved in:
- Building iron ore and lithium crushing, screening and processing plants, plus the non-processing infrastructure that supports them
- Supporting infrastructure that may include accommodation villages, on-site office complexes, fuel farms, vehicle wash-down bays and heavy vehicle maintenance workshops
What's in it for you
- Permanent full-time employment with real job security across a pipeline of major projects
- 3:1 FIFO roster ex-Perth on charter flights
- Fully catered, quality accommodation
- Up to 36 weeks' paid parental leave (primary carer) or 4 weeks (secondary carer)
- MinRes MyShare Plan and private health insurance discounts
- A genuine, site-wide commitment to safety, wellbeing and culture
What you'll bring
- Australian recognised trade certificate
- Current EWP (11m+) and Working at Heights ticket
- Drivers Licence
- Construction White Card
- Solid construction industry experience
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months), or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
Our process
We're committed to hiring people who share our values and meet the standards these roles demand. Depending on the position, our recruitment process may include reference checks, verification of Australian work rights, national police checks, pre-employment medicals and drug and alcohol testing.
