Storeperson – Mining Wear Parts
Henderson, WA | Permanent, full-time
This is an opportunity for an experienced Storeperson who takes pride in an organised warehouse, reliable service and getting the details right.
The role
Working closely with the warehouse team, you’ll support the receipt, storage and dispatch of mining wear parts, equipment and materials.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Loading and unloading trucks, freight and containers safely.
- Picking, preparing, packing and documenting orders for dispatch.
- Coordinating freight collections and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, processing stock receipts and supporting stocktakes and audits.
- Ensuring stock is correctly labelled and stored, and keeping warehouse areas clean and organised.
- Operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment within your licences and competency.
- Responding promptly to enquiries and working with the team to resolve issues.
- Following safety procedures and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes.
What you’ll bring
You’re reliable, detail-focused and comfortable working in a busy industrial warehouse. You can prioritise competing tasks, communicate clearly and work efficiently without compromising safety or accuracy.
You’ll also have:
- Experience from a similar industrial stores or warehouse role.
- A current forklift licence
- A CN crane ticket
- Experience using inventory or warehouse systems, along with intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail in parts identification, stock records and order preparation.
- A sound understanding of safe manual handling and warehouse safety.
- A practical approach to problem-solving and a willingness to support your teammates.
Experience in mining, industrial supplies or heavy equipment would be well regarded.
The role involves manual handling and physical warehouse activities, including lifting, pushing and pulling, undertaken in accordance with safe working practices.
