Medic
This critical position supports our growth plans and underpin our commitment to safety onsite. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Medic who has demonstrated industry experience to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide both primary and emergency medical treatment.
- Liaise with external providers such as allied health services to assist with the provision of coordinated occupational health service and care.
- Maintain accurate medical records of all incidents, treatments, and health assessments.
- Promote and educate workers about health and safety practices.
- Provide 24/7 emergency medical response onsite (on-call/afterhours capacity)
- Manage the day-to-day running of the medical clinic.
- Manage and restock medical supplies and equipment to ensure they are readily available and in good working condition.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor in Paramedical Science/Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent
- AHPRA Registration (unrestricted)
- Current C Class Driver's licence (manual mandatory)
- Drug and Alcohol testing qualifications
- Demonstrate experience as a Paramedic in the mining industry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a prehospital environment/Emergency Department or Similar post qualification
- Experience with communicable illnesses and non-emergent clinical care
- Injury Management experience
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
