The Opportunity

As the Fixed Plant Maintenance Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the maintenance of our processing plant and non‑process infrastructure.
This role will be based out of our Wodgina site on a 4D3X Roster.

This role is accountable for the development and execution of maintenance strategies, asset management frameworks, and reliability improvement initiatives that maximise plant availability and support operational performance. The position leads multidisciplinary maintenance teams and manages maintenance planning, execution, and resource allocation across all fixed plant and site infrastructure assets.

Reporting directly into the General Manager, you will ensure maintenance activities are aligned with operational priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term asset management objectives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, cost control, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver maintenance and asset management strategies for the processing plant and non‑process infrastructure, ensuring preventative, predictive, and condition‑based programs are in place
  • Drive plant reliability, asset availability, and maintenance effectiveness through data‑driven decision‑making, root cause analysis, and long‑term lifecycle planning
  • Provide leadership and oversight for maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution, including shutdowns, major maintenance activities, and critical repairs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, trades personnel, and planners, managing contractors to deliver safe and efficient maintenance outcomes
  • Foster collaboration between maintenance, operations, engineering, and site services teams to achieve high‑performance, operational alignment, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of site utilities, buildings, and facilities to support safe and efficient operations
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements, applying risk management processes and leading incident investigations
  • Manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs and performance metrics, and report on KPIs including plant availability, compliance, reliability, and cost control

What is Required:

  • Relevant Qualifications within Engineering or Trade disciplines
  • Extensive experience in a senior maintenance leadership role within a Fixed Plant environment
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations including OHS, HR, IR
  • Experience in reliability centred maintenance and implementing reliability and asset management strategies with the ability to demonstrate experience leading shutdowns.
  • Strong understanding of CMMS systems, work management and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build strong relationships

The Wodgina lithium operation is located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
