  • Salary commencing at $85,114 per annum + 12% superannuation (commensurate with experience)

The Opportunity

Join the People and Culture team at Moonee Valley City Council as a Human Resources Business Partner and play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support and advice across the organisation.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide end-to-end recruitment support, coordinate onboarding processes, manage HR administration tasks and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.



Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities including advertising, onboarding, pre-employment checks and drafting employment documentation
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems including My Portal and iChris
  • Provide timely and accurate HR advice to employees and managers relating to policies, procedures and employment matters
  • Process a variety of HR administration tasks including employment changes, higher duties, flexible work arrangements and terminations
  • Assist with HR projects, process improvements and compliance reporting activities.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant HR qualifications (or currently working towards) or demonstrated relevant experience
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
