We're looking for a specialist to join our team and help lead key initiatives across our organisation and the Moonee Valley Community
Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship between the key Application Owners across Council and the IT and Transformation department.
- Manage and lead projects and business improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that all Business Systems in use by Council are fit for purpose and if not, lead the work to decommission the existing application and implement its replacement.
- Coordinate applications lifecycle phases from discovery, planning and justification, procuring, implementing, support and decommissioning
- Drive decisions and ownership of Council approved applications.
- Provide guidance and or support to areas of Council to maximise workflow processes.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology, business or other relevant discipline with some relevant experience, or extensive demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis.
- Experience in project management
- Experience with stakeholder and vendor management.
- Experience in the development of business cases and to outline cost vs benefit
- Understanding of process mapping and or other continuous improvement tools
- Experience in Local Government (desirable).
