We are setting up a new regional HR shared services hub from the heart of Adelaide. We have a rare opportunity for a Regional PeopleX Lead to help stand up this new service as we transition from a small, offshore team.
Based in Adelaide, with a flexible work from office / work from home arrangement, the areas of success for this role will be leadership, communication, digital and data management skills.
Our PeopleX team is all about the People Experience. Our region comprises of 11 countries across Asia Pacific, New Zealand & Australia (APNA). This role will lead the delivery of our PeopleX team to the region, while acting as our regional representative on global shared services initiatives, interacting with other regional counterparts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Being a relationship manager - you'll work closely with our HR teams in region to manage priorities for BAU and unique projects, aligning where possible;
* Project management - you will implement new HR procedures, and upskill the PeopleX team to deliver services for HR advisory, talent acquisition and talent development.
* Communication strategist - you will implement effective communication strategies that manage interactions between our local HR teams, PeopleX and global functions;
* Relentless on continual improvement - you will continually look for ways to improve our HR procedures, templates and processes, enabling our local teams to focus on the internal client. You will be a key contributor to new improvement ideas which includes upgrading our written HR communication;
* Governance and compliance focused - you'll oversee regional inputs to our HRIS and HR filing structure, helping to coordinate our governance structures and HR compliance to legal frameworks (including GDPR) and our Business Management System (BMS);
* Project coordinate - in 2021 we will be implementing SAP SuccessFactors. You will play a key role at upskilling the PeopleX team to use this system and coordinate the system integration in support of our HR Business Partner, Projects.
We work as a highly efficient close team that likes to laugh as hard as we work. We are open to a variety of previous work experience, as we are looking for the right fit for this role. While knowledge of HR systems and procedures will be preferred, we remain open to those with a background in project management, business analysis, data management or highly skilled administrative areas (EA, payroll etc).
Previous experience managing high volumes of data, proficiency with digital technology and attention to detail skills are essential. The role will require advanced excel skills. A working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors will be highly regarded. As this role supports across our APNA region, we are looking for someone who is able to navigate cross-cultural communications and interactions with kindness.
