Our Finance team across the Asia Pacific, New Zealand & Australia region ('APNA') provide a trusted front line financial support service. As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients, we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join us in our Head Office. Working within a tight knit Finance team committed to the Australian business unit, with links into our wider APNA regional finance team, this newly created opportunity will see you reporting into the Finance Manager and taking on areas of the reporting & analysis and business partnering responsibilities.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to take ownership on the timely preparation of accurate monthly divisional report and analysis, and present observation and trends to divisional leaders. You will be responsible for detailed reviews of divisional Profit & Loss including WIP, project deteriorations, contingency and utilisation trends.

Your stakeholder management skills will come into play with both internal stakeholders when supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast & business review processes, as well as internal and external auditors.

Part of your role will include training and supporting assigned business unit managers and their wider teams to meet key requirements for financial aspects of the business. You will be a key member of our Australia, and wider APAC finance teams, and working together to deliver management and financial accounting deadlines. Rolling up your sleeves when required, is an important attitude to have.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or be a qualified accountant (CA/ CPA)
• Have demonstrated industry experience working for a medium/ large international company
• Experience working in a management accounts/ project accounts position in the consulting industry is preferred but not essential
• Ability to produce relevant, value-adding management information to support the decision-making process of senior-level management
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members
• Advanced user of Excel and commercial accounting systems. Experience in building and/or maintaining power pivots and PowerBI dashboards
• Highly proficient in the MS Suite
