Your Opportunity
Our Finance team across the Asia Pacific, New Zealand & Australia ('APNA') region provides a trusted front line financial service for our stakeholders. As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients, we are looking for an experienced Management and Financial Accountant to join the team.
Working within a tight knit Finance team and with links into our wider APNA Regional Finance team, this newly created opportunity will see you reporting into the APNA Regional Finance Director and taking on areas of the reporting, analysis and business partnering responsibilities. You will be involved with:
- Regional reporting and analysis
- Coordinating month-end, forecast and budgeting processes.
- Regional governance to support Unit Finance Managers (incl project governance and internal & external audits)
- Preparation of consolidated reports for presentation to Group Finance, the APNA Board and Group Board
- Financial accounting (accounting practices, writing technical papers, quarterly statutory reporting to our UK Head Office)
- Supporting the Thailand Finance Hub, including continuous improvement and driving efficiencies
- Supporting the Unit Finance Managers in complying with treasury and statutory obligations
- Ad-hoc projects and requests (e.g. M&A due diligence, system and process changes)
About You
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or be a qualified accountant (CA/ CPA)
- Have demonstrated industry experience working for a medium/ large international company
- Working knowledge of tax advantageous
- advanced analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Highly effective in written communication and verbal reasoning
- Team player who excels in managing, motivating and developing a dispersed financial community
- highly effective in working with little supervision and able to delegate but retain ownership and accountability
- Effective in interfacing with non-financial staff to achieve common deadlines with a team focus (e.g. General Managers, HR, Legal).
- Experience working in a management accounts/project accounts position in the consulting industry is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to produce relevant, value-adding management information to support the decision-making process of senior-level management.
