We have secured exciting projects across the hydropower and dams' sector and seeking candidates to join our global Dams team. As a leading provider of dam engineering services with a growing portfolio of projects, we have been engaged in the study, design, and delivery of major dam projects for over 80 years

Your opportunity
The role will see you lead a team of engineers and technical specialists, preparing feasibility studies, calculations, and outline/detailed civil engineering designs.

As a Senior Dams Engineer you work on owners engineer services, provide management and direction to the design of large, multidisciplinary projects, providing technical support, project management, and professional guidance to reports to aid their development. The role includes connecting into our Global Dams and Hydropower capability and capacity to bring the best of Mott MacDonald to our Australian clients and growing a team aligned to client needs.

About you
You are a collaborative dams engineer with a passion for fast-paced major projects with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to influence and guide key stakeholders. Bringing your wealth of expertise across Dams , you'll have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, ideally chartered with local registration
• Demonstrated experience of dams, reservoirs, and hydraulics
• Enthusiasm to lead a team and be a key technical mentor to a larger team of experienced professionals.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects, including managing key clients and other project stakeholders
