Successful candidates will be part of our multi-disciplinary environment, climate & sustainability team, which covers all aspects of environmental assessment, monitoring and permitting, carbon management, climate resilience, sustainable building and infrastructure design, strategic planning, urban design and statutory planning, corporate sustainability reporting, and strategy development.
The opportunity
Our Environment, Climate, and Sustainability team is recruiting for Senior Planners to join our growing teams in Brisbane Sydney, and Melbourne. With a growing pipeline of work in the transport, water, energy, and defence spaces, we are seeking a highly motivated individual that wants to be part of a growing team! Role-Specific Duties:
- Provide planning advice and prepare approval applications for a variety of projects including large- and small-scale infrastructure, energy, and precincts projects.
- Provide planning advice to internal and external clients on issues including but not limited to land use planning, approvals, and strategic planning.
- Undertake the preparation of environmental approvals and planning assessments, feasibility studies, permitting and licensing documentation, and support the development of technical assessments, management plans, and other documents to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated advisory sector and across project teams.
- Support the development of proposals and bid submissions.
About you
You bring experience in statutory, urban, town or strategic planning within a consultancy environment, with a good understanding and experience in your relevant state planning legislation and policies. Great verbal and written communication skills, and relevant Tertiary qualification in Town/Urban Planning or equivalent, and be eligible for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia
