Due to continuous growth and a focus on delivering for our clients, Mott MacDonald's Transport team is looking for a Technical Director and Lead Engineer - Ports, Freight and Intermodal to be based in Brisbane or Sydney. You will be joining a diverse team of consultants who are passionate about what they do, with a proven track record guiding our clients, and leading delivery of our State and Country's most critical projects.
Your Opportunity
Thanks to an expanding project portfolio Mott MacDonald QLD has a new opportunity for a Technical Director/Lead ngineer to join our dynamic and growing team working on iconic freight, portals and maritime infrastructure projects, locally, nationally, and globally.
This role will work within a project group of planners, geotechnical engineers, coastal engineers, and other disciplines to deliver design solutions, and support project delivery on freight, intermodal, coastal, maritime and ports infrastructure projects from feasibility/concept stage through to detailed design and construction support services. Undertake site inspections and condition assessments, and prepare reports and proposals, while managing client relationships and develop a strong network of connections.
About You
You're an experienced Civil Engineer in the transport field with a strong client focus, commercial, and engineering project management skills, and proven experience in the project delivery phase working on large infrastructure projects.
In addition, you can bring; technical knowledge in areas relating to ports planning, intermodal infrastructure, maritime structures and a mix of civil design such as road, rail, stormwater, or large industrial developments (highly desirable). Knowledge and experience with design packages such as Autodesk Civil 3D. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, with ports, maritime and /or coastal exposure
