Your opportunity
Mott MacDonald's transport planning team is at the cutting edge of integrated transport planning, and we are looking for another highly driven professional to add to our Transport Planning team in Adelaide.
We are looking for a Principal Transport Planner for 12-Month Fixed Term Contract to be undertaking data analytics across transport, land use and demographic data sets and communicate the analysis finds in an easily understandable manner using appropriate narrative and images.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively in the Transport Planning team in South Australia (Adelaide) and more broadly across APNA
- Delivering a range of technical roles including on projects involving transport planning, transport assessments, major infrastructure planning, precinct and corridor planning.
- Leading appropriate technical roles including undertaking transport and demographic data analytics
- Delivering technical excellence and contribute to Mott MacDonald's digital delivery requirements in Transport Planning.
- Leading the preparation of reports and reviewing various transport planning projects.
- As required, contribute to winning work for the team including contributing to proposals.
About You
As a Principal Transport Planner you will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, abilities and experience:
- Degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Geography or similar
- Enjoy being client-facing and keen to develop client relationships to assist the team in delivering Transport Planning projects and be proactive with clients with regard to delivering and winning work
- Experience in managing the successful delivery of transport planning projects
- Excellent report writing skills, including both written and numerical presentation
