Building our Talent
This is an exciting time to join Multiplex QLD working on some of the most iconic construction projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast! The project BIM Coordinator responsibilities include assisting the BIM Manager with the management and distribution of digital documents to the project team, coordinating models for submissions, analysing the level of detail and level of information comply with the BIM plan, extracting schedules, performing audits and coordinating consultant data exchanges of the 3D model and supporting files.
The successful applicant must have a good understanding of the construction industry, design, digital engineering practices and workflows, and an overall understanding of BIM practices and processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implement and manage BIM processes as required on the project
- Interpret client/project BIM documentation (PIR, EIR, BEP)
- Update BIM Documentation (EIR, BEP, procedures, workflows)
- Work with all discipline BIM Leads to enforce documented processes, procedures and workflows
- Assist to implement dRofus processes on suitable projects
- Assist with the delivery of an Asset Information Model at completion of the project
Motivated to become a leader in Building Information Modelling, the successful candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years' experience in BIM Management
- Building drafting/design or strong BIM based construction documentation knowledge with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess the ability to learn new technology/software and processes
- Possess the ability to use technology to explain and resolve construction issues
- Possess the ability to understand a projects design and be proactive in questioning design coordination and missing model elements
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders who may not be as experienced in BIM
- Preferred Software Knowledge: Navisworks Manage, Revizto, BIM 360, Revit, dRofus, iConstruct, Solibiri Model Checker, Autodesk Construction Cloud
