Building our Talent
Multiplex are now recruiting for an IT Technical Operations Manager. This is an exciting role that will combine a creative approach to design and implementation of our IT strategies and promote best practices for excellent user experience here at Multiplex. Lead, mentor and support the Global Systems, Network and Operational Integrations Teams.
This role is based in Sydney but will focus on our global infrastructure, network and cloud environments, with a responsibility to manage a team across Australia, the UK, & Middle East. Due to the global nature of this role there will be flexibility for home working as some meetings will be outside normal business hours.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist with the design and implementation of IT systems to drive business results, as well as responsibilities that bring efficiencies in IT operations to help streamline system and application delivery in line with business objectives.
- Have an active responsibility of delivering certainty of service by maintaining and managing the end-to-end lifecycles of all (including cloud) and networking environments.
- Work closely with the IT Strategy and Architecture function on business requirements so a clear and concise service strategy and design can be formulated and executed.
- Manage and maintain cost-effective IT services from 3rd parties ensuring the IT budget is met.
- Through the Team and with own knowledge and skills provide technical expertise to all business-as-usual operations and IT projects, ensuring that industry best practices are followed.
Key Skillset Required:
This is a lead role that will require extensive corporate IT experience in complex IT environments. You should apply for this role if you have the following:
- Diploma of Information Technology or a Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent
- MCSA: Windows Server 2008/2012, 2016 (preferred)
- ITIL V3/4 Foundation Certification
- Experienced in corporate IT experience in complex multi-server, multi-site, multi-domain environments.
- Experienced in Windows 2008/2012/2016 Core Services (DNS, DHCP, DFS-R, etc.)
- Experienced in Windows 2008/2012/2016 Directory Services (Group Policy management, Configuration, Scripting)
- Extension knowledge in supporting systems infrastructure. (Systems, Storage, Networks, Virtualization)
Desirable
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7
- Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V) for XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP5) or Higher
