Building our Talent
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the Contracts Manager is responsible for providing the contracts management and oversight of all commercial activites for the project. They play a key role in supporting the project's commercial administration function and processes which includes overseeing the procurement of labour/sub-contractor services and financial activities with a focus on cash flow, profit maximisation, variations, reporting and administration. Other roles will be to actively identify and communicate financial, contractual, and commercial issues as well as lead and support a team of Contracts Administrators through project deliver.
Together with relevant qualifications in commerce/finance/law or a related discipline, we would like candidates to have experience working as a Contracts Manager within a commercial construction contractor or subcontractor, along with high level experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimnating, understanding of tender processes, financial knowledge of construction costs and legal nouse. Other key attributes includes an analytical mindset, problem solving skills and exceptional stakeholder management, specifically with out suppliers/subcontractors/custmomers and the client.
