About You
Nabtrade supports and facilitates our online investing platform including domestic equities, retail access to mFunds, International trades and ETOs. As part of the Settlements team, a Settlements Officer will be responsible for the day to day operations of the settlement of trades. This role will be pivotal in assisting the Settlements team to complete trades settlement.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Completion of trades settlement across different asset classes in SE/FNZ/GBST to ensure client and market obligations are met
- Reconciliation of executed trades, cash & holdings
- Processing of cash batches
- Completion of daily settlement reconciliation
- Follow up and resolve all unmatched DVP settlement
- Ensure all allocated activities are completed accurately and within the SLAs
- Exception management of trades settlement
- Adhoc tasks as directed by the Lead, Settlements and Managers
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Settlements role within a Financial Services organisation
- Proven stockbroking experience – ASX Equities, International Equities & Managed Funds, International would be preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be proactive and have an eye for detail
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to problem solve
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or Commerce preferred
