Corporate Finance: Client Management & Execution (CME):
Corporate Finance is responsible for all financing activity in Corporate & Institutional Bank (C&IB). We manage the balance sheet for C&IB, while providing financing solutions for our customers across diversified sectors. Our Client Management & Execution (CME) Team partner Client Coverage and Product Specialist teams with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for clients.
This entry level role will give you an opportunity to continue developing your commercial credit risk and financial analysis skills, client relationship management skills, and enable you to play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships. You will provide origination support, credit analysis, deal execution and portfolio risk management functions across the assigned portfolio.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the maintenance of the portfolio, including portfolio administration, monitoring of facility documentation, including covenant compliance and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of system data
- Undertaking financial and credit risk analysis for the preparation of new credit submissions and annual reviews of existing transactions
- Supporting workflow management between Client Coverage, CME, Product Specialists, Credit and client support teams to achieve a seamless client experience.
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate qualification in law, finance, business or accounting
- Prior experience in banking, including with credit and compliance processes
- Experience in writing credit submissions and annual reviews clearly and succinctly
- Sound numerical, financial analysis and modelling skills
- Understanding of debt and financial markets products
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance environment
