We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst, Business Credit Portfolio Management.
The Business Credit Portfolio Management team is the 1st line credit risk management function for Business Lending portfolios within the B&PB division. The team plays a critical role in the development and management of automated and assisted credit decisioning strategies for B&PB including acquisitions and customer management. The analyst role will use data, analytics and modelling techniques to develop, document and support the implementation of credit decisioning strategies for SME customers within the agreed risk settings. We are looking for someone who is curious, self-motivated, has a strong passion for data, analytics, modelling and great interpersonal skills to help deliver an exceptional customer experience for our business customers.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of credit decisioning strategies using data and analytics across origination and customer management for business customers within the agreed risk settings and profile.
- Optimise existing credit strategies and initiatives that will improve the customer credit experience whilst balancing risk and reward.
- Deliver high quality, accurate and timely analytics using industry standard tools to solve business problems.
- Produce high quality, data driven insights and recommendations.
- Support a wide range of stakeholders with timely and accurate insights using data and analytics.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the enterprise and work collaboratively with cross functional teams
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
- Tertiary qualifications with quantitative background in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Commerce, or related disciplines.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience of analytics, quantitative modelling, data science or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in using data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, R.
- Experience in data analysis, data visualization and interpreting data.
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouses, predictive modelling, machine learning, credit risk management will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Inter-personal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders and partners.
