Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We currently have two exciting opportunities, as a Senior Consultant, Distinctive Leadership Program (DLP) Coaching. These roles will be offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.
These roles are responsible for supporting leaders to embed leadership practices learned through the DLP program, building their capability and effectiveness as leaders and meet NAB’s leadership expectations.
As a Senior Consultant, you will also Coach leaders in leadership skills and verify translation into performance outcomes, whilst also working in partnership with business leaders to support and promote growth of a leader and coaching culture within NAB.
The role is accountable for:
- As a champion of change, coaches implement and embed the right actions at the right time to continuously improve processes, behaviours and results in line with the Group strategy
- Champion the NAB Group Leadership practices particularly with assigned leaders and teams support a ‘one way’ approach by ensuring consistent ways of working & operating rhythms
- Promote the sharing of best practices across teams by cross pollinating proven methods; identify, introduce and advocate the continuation of this culture throughout their portfolios; work with other leadership Coaches to ensure consistent application of coaching frameworks and methodologies
- Challenge leaders constructively to help maximise the executional excellence and urgency of required behaviour and ensure a lift in desired results
- Ensure feedback is provided to the leadership design and delivery teams to continuously improve training effectiveness
- Work closely with the business leaders to identify leadership gaps for new and existing team members and support people leaders to implement/execute coaching plans to address these gaps and lift performance
- Enable ongoing capability development of the business through facilitation of coaching and leadership workshops where appropriate
- Facilitation of DLP workshops where required (virtual and/or face to face)
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in the areas of of HR/Coaching expertise, across a range of industries including (ideally) financial services experience.
- Experience designing HR/Coaching Strategies for large corporates with a focus on leadership
- Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and change behaviour across the organisation at all levels including senior management
- Extensive Stakeholder Management, Engagement experience, as well as negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to diagnose performance issues accurately and develop effective solutions
- A passion for excellence and performance improvement
