About the role
Analyst Engineer position is responsible to deliver and support a range of technology applications/development services through design, development, programming, testing and maintenance of Technology solutions aligned with business objectives. Additionally, Analyst Engineers act in a supporting capacity by providing fail and fix application support.
Responsibilities
- Providing further contribution & leadership to:
- Participate in 24x7 production support roster providing second level support for cards applications as part of a Cards Support team
- Manage incident, problem and change using the NAB ITIL framework
- contributing to system design which includes producing system and program documentation as well as ongoing maintenance
- develop, program and code technology applications & software solutions to meet agreed specifications and improve, enhance and correct systems & test environments as necessary
- create development and support documentation and provide advice regarding applications to enable support function to work proactively
- create and action implementation plans & involved in post implementation reviews
- Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues, or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance)
Skills and experience
- 3-5+ years of general IT experience supporting a technical asset or service and/or experience in a relevant business analysis role
- Experience in development/support of Cards Asset specific applications (P1C, Vision+, Visa)
- Proven experience working in Support and/or Delivery
- Proven experience in development (including analysis, design, coding, testing & implementation) and/or support
