The role:
Reporting to the Director, Client Management & Execution (CM&E), Senior Associates are key members of the Financial Institutions, Government & Tech CM&E team that partners with Client Coverage across all aspects of client delivery and portfolio management. In the role you will be required to undertake detailed credit analysis, deal structuring, execution and portfolio risk management and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.
As our Senior Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing credit submissions including relevant financial analysis and making recommendations on transactions to Credit Risk.
- Managing transaction execution and workflow between Client Coverage, Product Partners and client support teams, to achieve seamless client delivery
- Managing and monitoring the ongoing risk profile, policy and compliance requirements of a client portfolio, ensuring portfolio hygiene is accurate and in accordance with the Bank’s requirements
- Conducting research and analysis to provide industry/sector expertise, insights and knowledge
- Attending internal and external stakeholders’ meetings to support business outcomes while managing portfolio risks
- Provide guidance/coaching to less experienced team members
What you will bring?
- Extensive prior experience in working with Institutional / Corporate Banking clients in an analytical or comparable role including relevant industry / client experience in the Financial Institutions segment with a focus on Insurance, Banks and / or Non-Bank Lender sectors
- Strong credit writing and analytical capabilities alongside transaction execution, portfolio management and documentation skills with prior experience in transaction structuring and financial markets products
- An understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment in which the bank operates including capital, ratings and reporting requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or related discipline.
