It’s a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as a Senior Associate within our newly created Finance Enablement & Change team.
As the Senior Associate you will be focused on projects and change in within our Business and Private Banking (BP&B) Finance Enablement & Change team. You will work closely with the business transformation Associate Director in BP&B Finance E&C and the BP&B Finance Team. This role will operate like a Business Analyst (Projects) within the Agile projects’ delivery framework.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Business, data and process analysis skills to deliver technology and finance change. Including:
- BP&B Finance Technology: automation (manual journals), simplification (data sourcing and utilisation), digitisation (reporting)
- BP&B Finance Capabilities uplift: training and development infrastructure
- Facilitating optimal strategic System and Process solutions within teams using design thinking methodology.
- Working with BP&B Finance stakeholders and SMEs to document Finance Requirements and participate in Solution design discussions.
- Collaborating with technology teams, UAT testing planning and coordination; and Go Live implementation.
- Knowledge of Banking & Finance systems infrastructure and processes, Functional Requirements, and accounting experience.
- Participating in ad-hoc change and projects that impact BP&B Finance.
- Delivering change in a safe and efficient manner – assists in the preparation of Risk in Change assessments if required.
What you will bring:
- Experience utilizing finance reporting tools and technology capabilities such as SQL and other code e.g. SQL, Tableau, MS Power BI, Python.
- Result-driven, analytical, and creative thinker and innovative problem solver.
- Self-motivated and proactive, be highly organized, have ability to handle-multiple and simultaneous tasks meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Finance & Accounting experience including E2E data flows and reporting processes favoured.
- Finance reporting and Finance systems experience preferred.
- A curiosity and creativity to continuously add value and find efficiencies.
