As part of a specialist Quality Engineering team, you will work across all disciplines (Performance Engineering, Service Virtualization and Quality Analytics), to enable and transform quality practices within the bank’s platform teams.  Deliver performance testing solutions, test scripts and result analysis for the successful implementation of services to production.

The role and day to will include

• Development of Test Strategies and Test Plans for development Projects
• Write, Execute & Automate Functional Test cases for development projects
• Continuous improvement of processes and standards used within the Functional Testing Suite
• Support testing for Production defects, Maintenance, Compliance or Security issues
• Coordinating Test Environment maintenance or availability issues
• Gathering Non-Functional requirements
• Execution of various Non-Functional Tests, including Regression & Progression Testing, Stress testing, Resiliency testing & Chaos Engineering Experiments, Smoke Tests and Shakeout
• Improvement & Maintenance workload modelling for NFT scenarios
• Functional & Non-Functional Test Summary Report preparation & stakeholder walkthroughs
• Mentoring junior Quality Engineers in the team and improving the overall Quality Engineering capability

What you will bring

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience on Testing tools and Scripting including JMeter, Artillery, LoadRunner & Gatling
• Experience on Functional Testing tools like Postman
• Experience on Automation Testing Frameworks like Mocha and Chai based on node.JS and Jupyter
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub & Artifactory
• Experience on service virtualisation like Montebank and Wiremock
• Skills on AppDynamics and Splunk
• Linux/Unix Scripting
• Basic Understanding of Java
• AWS, preferably a valid Associate level certification
• Knowledge on Project management skills like Effort Estimation and Release Planning
• Ability to establish strong relationships internally.
• Awareness on Security testing strategies like Penetration Testing
• Experience working with Oracle DB and Postgres is preferable
