The role

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Unsecured CPM Analytical team in delivering their Instant Credit Decisioning capability for Personal Everyday Banking.

Day to day will include :

Working with the Apply & Set Up team in Personal Everyday Banking, the individual will support:

  • Scale out of the consumer credit initiatives across all unsecured lending
  • Credit SME and analytical support across ‘Apply & Setup Initiatives’

Key responsibilities are to:

  • Drive scale out of consumer credit innovation credit strategies across PEB working closely with the credit model development and ‘Apply and Set Up’ teams
  • End-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives and deliverables, including producing recommendations, stakeholder management and leading analysts
  • Provide strategic thinking on credit approaches and optimisation
  • Provide support to Unsecured CPM Leadership Team in the ongoing delivery of strategic roadmap & FY22/23 Goals
  • Provide support to Unsecured CPM Leadership Team in planning and prioritisation

What you’ll bring:

In this role you need to have loads of passion and be a pro-active self-starter to ensure effectiveness in the role. You are also well organised, have superb attention to detail and apply logic in dealing with problems. You can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Strong unsecured credit risk management experience
  • Expert analytical skills and experience including transactional data using Python and/or other similar tools
  • A good knowledge of consumer finance automated credit processes
  • An ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
