The role
The acquisition of Citigroup Australia’s consumer business supports NAB's strategic growth ambition for Personal Banking, helping the bank achieve its goals faster as it drives toward being Australia's best Personal Bank.
As a Customer Service Advisor your role will be to make an outstanding impression on our customers by providing them with friendly, personal, and efficient service. You will be provided with ongoing training and development to ensure you are providing the highest level of customer service to our customers and you are performing at your very best.
Your opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to enter our business and provide you with the knowledge to begin your career in Financial Services. The Customer Service Advisors work across 3 rotating rosters covering the call centre’s opening hours which are 7 days per week, 24 hours per day . Located at our Parramatta office in Sydney you will work alongside a high performing team of people who are fully engaged and passionate about servicing our customer’s needs.
The role and Day-to-day will include:
- Handle inbound calls from customers and providing them with outstanding service in relation to general information on Citi products and services to achieve a high standard of first call resolution (FCR)
- Interact with customers by phone to develop customer relationships through demonstrating a personal interest, creating self-service opportunities and facilitate the customer request
- Meet individual performance targets and expectations including productivity, quality, and service targets
- Organize, action, and follow up your daily work and delegated tasks and take ownership for resolving customer issues
What you will bring:
- A high degree of drive, motivation and enthusiasm to learn and be focused on providing a superior level of customer service to both internal and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both a team and individual environments and the ability to work effectively when not supervised
- Previous experience working in a customer service environment ideally call centre based with a focus on excellence in customer service is highly regarded
- Proven experience in providing great customer service within retail or hospitality is also highly regarded
- The ability to commit to shift work across morning, afternoon and night shifts on a rational basis
- A proven track record performing well under pressure and working towards KPI’s including NPS and FCR
- The ability to work in a busy, commercial, competitive and target driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred however not essential
