We currently have an opportunity for a PMO Manager within Home Ownership Domain - Technology & Enterprise Operations.
You will provide PMO leadership across the Domain with significant financial investment, broad resource demands and extended delivery timeframes. It requires the development of deep working relationships while operating in a complex stakeholder environment across multiple lines of business. Your experience in similar roles will enable you to consult and offer guidance to multiple Leadership Teams to meet their financial budget.
You will lead a PMO team to support Domain governance & reporting; financial management (including investment forecasting, actual and variance analysis, AUC and FAR process); data aggregation; risk and issue management as well as administrative activities across three large Sub Domains. You will have extensive experience in large and complex PMOs and a mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation to simplify and optimise supporting processes.
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Supporting the Domain in managing multiple initiatives and medium to large programs of work, across four Sub Domains
- Articulating program outcomes (both planned and achieved) to an executive level audience to secure ongoing funding and demonstrate achievements
- Financial management of the Domain funding envelope and its allocation across initiatives programs and support of the transparent rebalancing of those allocations as delivery velocity and benefits achievement changes throughout the funding cycle
- Benefits, Planning, Schedule, Dependency and Resource Management
What you will bring
- Previous experience in a similar role in a large corporate, complex environment
- Solid understanding in project management methodologies tools and processes across the project lifecycle, experience in Agile delivery frameworks is ideal
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills in order to drive the right outcome for the business
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and deliver outcomes
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of project analysts
- An understanding of financial treatments and the ability to manage, analyse, report and negotiate on budgets and costs, and assist with forecasting management and subsequent reporting.
- Knowledge of how to frame messaging, particularly with respect to financials – at a Squad, Sub Domain and Domain level
- Detailed knowledge of how to establish and maintain governance registers (decision, risk, issue) and ensure associated blockers are highlighted and escalated where necessary
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong Clarity skills
- Some Rally skills would be beneficial
