The role
It’s a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as a Senior Project Analyst. As a Senior Project Analyst, you will lead and coordinate the Project Management activities undertaken within a large program of work. This requires leading the project planning, status reporting, financial budgeting and reporting, risk and issue management and change control processes for the Program. You will be responsible for assisting the maintenance of program quality standards by implementing and ensuring adherence to NAB Specific methodology, processes and tools.
The Project Analysis capability forms part of the Merchant Services PMO team. This team is primarily responsible for program/ project delivery, with ownership of the governance, methodologies and tools required for delivering technology and business change across the Merchant Services domain in the bank.
Some key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Program Manager in managing a range of projects in scale and complexity
- Working closely with other SPAs within the team to share knowledge and ideas
- Supporting Project Managers with Clarity and FTS tools and processes
- Planning and Schedule Management
- Risk, Issue and Change Management Functions
- Cost Management, managing project / program budgets and support completion of work stream funding submissions, using nominated financial workbooks
- Liaise with Project / Program Managers to support delivery against the program timelines
- Working collaboratively with other key Business units to assist in the success of the overall project
What you’ll bring:
- Detailed knowledge of how to maintain and manage Risks & Issues Registers, report on Risks & Issues at a Project level and facilitate a Risks & Issues forum
- Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment
- Deep understanding of how to identify and track project dependencies and update project plan
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
- Ability to manage, analyse, report and negotiate on project budgets and costs, and help Project Managers with Funding Submissions and understanding of financial treatments
- Prior project experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry an Advantage
- Experience with Clarity
- Excel expertise is mandatory for the role.
