The role:

As Senior Associate, you will provide transactional banking expertise in managing a portfolio of customers within the Corporate Banking sector. With a strong focus on organic growth of existing relationships in the portfolio and an appetite for new business, you will relish the opportunity to propel your skills and knowledge whilst supporting the oneNAB plan and Big 5 strategy.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver a great customer experience and grow customer advocacy for the portfolio across Corporate QLD & NSW
  • Lead portfolio reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure we bring the best of NAB to the relationship
  • Provide support for pricing of new products and responding to technical enquiries
  • Support the identification of new opportunities with value add service and solutions
  • Attend meetings with bankers and customers (either face-to face or virtual) when appropriate
  • Identify areas for continuous improvements through efficacy and the industry insights that you bring
  • Proactively manage risk; by meeting all policy and compliance requirements; performing controls, and escalating events, issues and breaches as they are identified.

What you’ll bring:

  • A baseline understanding of transaction banking products, underpinned by hand on experience within the Business Bank or C&IB supporting business customers
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
  • A commitment to staying abreast of global technology advancements in the payments industry, coupled with and understanding of pain points and challenges that our customers face within business.
