About the Role
Looking for a highly experienced Communications Manager to join our Corporate Affairs team and be part of an interdisciplinary project team for a new Enterprise Agreement. The role is focused on proactive employee communications and is responsible for development and execution of an integrated communications plan that meets the EA project objectives and aligns to NAB’s Group Strategy, as well as its Colleague Strategy and Corporate Affairs priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing an enterprise communications plan consistent with the overall strategy for this project.
- Taking ownership for accurately and simply delivering EA messages consistently, continually developing up-to-date internal and external messaging for a range of enterprise channels.
- Understanding NAB’s colleague demographic and keeping this front and centre.
- Collaborating with Employee Communications and key stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment of NAB’s messaging and communications activity.
- Engaging with the business as required (including colleagues and leaders) to test the approach and influence positive outcomes aligned to the overall EA strategy.
- Helping to drive business decisions that build trust and drive change for the benefit of customers and colleagues, and by pursuing new, innovative, creative and effective communications approaches.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years’ experience in Corporate Communications including developing and delivering persuasive employee communication plans and materials.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor who influences outcomes with senior to mid-tier executives/stakeholders and/or mitigates issues to achieve communications objectives.
- Excellent plain English written communication and digital and social media content skills.
- Well-developed time management and organisation skills with experience working in a complex team environment.
- Risk management, including issues identification and minimisation to protects NAB’s reputation.
- Sound understanding of political and external environment and potential impacts.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications or a related field.
- Understanding of the Enterprise Agreement bargaining and approval process desired.
