The role:
As a Change Manager, you will play a key role within the Business Everyday Banking Change team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Value & Change, you will be responsible for driving the execution of activities required to implement strategic change for the Business Everyday Banking Domain. This involves leading the change work in larger, more complex programs of work or across several smaller projects and initiatives simultaneously.
You will provide guidance and support to the program – and to the business – on how to manage and lead change. As a senior member of our Change Practise, you will provide support, coaching and assist with the development of the team.
Your key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Provide the Program/Project with day-to-day change management leadership
- Ensure change activities have end-to-end ownership, including delivery of the change work as per agreed plans, ensuring co-ordination and integration of activities across the Program/Project
- Identify business impacts from the Program/Project and assessment of the organisational readiness for the changes being implemented by the Program/Project, and develop a Change Plan accordingly
- Develop adoption metrics, create a plan to monitor, track and pivot as required; to realise project benefits
- Ensure that changes are embedded well within the business, contributing to the realisation of the Program/Project’s benefits.
What you will bring:
You will have a thorough understanding of Change Management frameworks and processes and are comfortable working in large, complex organisations. Your ability to work in partnership with stakeholders to understand the impacts of change, develop change strategies and make them stick will see you have a real impact on meaningful work.
Additionally, your experience includes:
- Extensive experience working in a similar Change Management role delivering end to end complex change, within a large-scale financial services environment.
- Experience in change delivery on credit card projects highly desirable.
- Must have experience in Agile Change Delivery & Transformation
- Experienced in influencing key stakeholders to ensure initiatives/projects are completed on time, on budget and with desired outcomes
- Demonstrated experience as a change delivery professional (including determining the change strategy and measuring the success of your change delivery)
- Able to operate as a Change Lead across multiple/complex projects, informally leading other change professionals
- Background in a project environment coupled with banking experience
- Optimisation, improvement and business planning activities and acumen
- Strong analytical, process and critical thinking skills
