We currently have an exciting opportunity within this dynamic team for an Associate, Equipment Finance. We are looking for a highly motivated career minded professional or an existing banker with sales and customer relationship skills, keen to take the next step in their career or to diversify their experience and challenge themselves within a new part of the business.
This role will provide the successful applicant with the unique opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of the Equipment Finance business together with some of the operational and business banking areas of the broader bank.
Key responsibilities:
This is a challenging, multi-faceted role with a strong focus on sales together with exceptional, first class customer service.
You will be the first point of contact for our Bankers and Brokers, for all new business and some post settlement inquiries. Other responsibilities are wide ranging and include, but are not limited to:
- Provide specialist support to assist Bankers to create and maximise Equipment Finance sales opportunities by providing competitively priced finance quotes and sales assistance whilst consistently educating to improve their product knowledge and sales techniques
- Provide excellent support and advice with a focus on compliance, policy and procedure. Answer all phone and email inquiries within set service level agreements; resolve issues directly, escalating issues if required and attending to administration duties.
This key role will provide individuals who demonstrate drive, initiative, personal and professional growth with an excellent opportunity to develop core Equipment Finance knowledge, skills and competencies to enable them to further progress their career either within the Equipment Finance division or the broader business bank.
About you
You will have proven experience in financial services within a professional environment, the ability to communicate with influence and be focused on providing specialist advice, combined with training and coaching. You will bring innovative ideas regarding process improvement and have strong attention to detail, sound time management skills along with an enthusiastic attitude. Tertiary qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
