Due to our current growth and recent project awards, we are currently seeking an experienced Plant & Asset Administrator to join our team on a major construction project in Toowoomba, with an expected project duration of approximately 12–16 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a strong background in plant and asset administration within a construction environment. Experience working in a workshop-related environment is highly regarded but not essential.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the Plant Supervisor, Superintendent and Engineering Department, ensuring plant, vehicles, records and administrative processes are maintained accurately and in accordance with project and ISO requirements.
What you will do:
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:
Prepare and maintain plant registers in accordance with ISO compliance requirements.
Maintain and facilitate vehicle and plant registrations and servicing records.
Schedule servicing and maintenance of vehicles and plant.
Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding of plant using a digital plant management platform.
Prepare and process purchase orders.
Assist with the management and administration of insurance claims.
Reconcile purchase orders, invoices and delivery dockets.
Maintain databases for daily inward and outward dispatch.
Complete accurate manual and digital data entry into the stock management system.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date plant, asset and inventory records.
Provide administrative support to the Plant Supervisor, Superintendent and Engineering Department.
Support the project team with general plant and asset administration as required.
Work in a disciplined and organised manner while ensuring project procedures and requirements are followed.
What do you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Plant & Asset Administration role, preferably within a construction environment.
Experience working in or around a workshop environment is desirable but not essential.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience managing plant, vehicle, asset or equipment records.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
A current White Card.
Experience with purchase orders, invoices and delivery documentation.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records in a busy project environment.
A willingness and ability to support the project in a disciplined and professional manner.
The ability to work effectively with supervisors, engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
You will be local to Toowoomba and the surrounding district.
