Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an Executive Manager – Strategic Enablement reporting to Chief Data Officer

A bit about your role

This role plays a critical part in supporting the Chief Data Officer (CDO) by driving strategic alignment, governance excellence, and operational efficiency across the organisation. You will ensure senior leaders are contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives, while delivering high-quality governance processes and insights that enable informed decision-making. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide analysis and recommendations on performance, oversee key governance forums, and ensure the CDO’s priorities are effectively represented at executive and board-level engagements.

You will lead business planning, financial tracking, and process maturity initiatives, while coordinating cross-functional programs and strategic deliverables. The role also serves as the central point for ad hoc executive requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality outputs for senior stakeholders. Working closely with leadership, finance, risk, and external partners, you will drive outcomes across strategic initiatives, enhance organisational capability, and support the delivery of measurable value from data and analytics.

A bit about you

We are seeking a highly capable professional preferably with a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field, and experience in management consulting or a similar environment. Exposure to data governance, data management, IT, or AI/ML is desirable. You will bring strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to apply structured thinking to complex challenges, alongside a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality presentations and materials for senior stakeholders. Strong program management capabilities are essential, along with sound experience in financial and workforce planning. You will be highly organised, with a proven ability to influence, coordinate, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, executive-facing environment.
