Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Digital Producer. This role will report to the Executive Manager, Digital Marketing.

A bit about your role

As the Digital Producer, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing digital experiences across nbn’s digital platforms, including the website, B2B portal and AI-powered digital assistant. You will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of digital content and experience improvements, ensuring changes are prioritised based on customer impact, business value and strategic objectives. You will combine content knowledge with an understanding of UX and digital best practice to continuously optimise customer journeys and improve experience quality.

You will leverage analytics, experimentation and customer insights to identify opportunities for enhancement, while balancing day-to-day content delivery with longer-term strategic improvements. Working closely with Reporting and Performance teams, you will support A/B testing and leverage AI-enabled tools, including generative AI, content assistants, automation and testing platforms to improve content quality and consistency, accelerate production workflows and generate, validate and refine new ideas and experience variations. As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships across the business, translating complex requirements into effective digital solutions and guiding stakeholders on content strategy, experimentation, personalisation and digital optimisation.

A bit about you

You bring experience in digital production, content management, customer experience, marketing, communications or a related discipline, supported by tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience. You have a demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into engaging digital experiences and have a strong track record of managing content delivery, stakeholder relationships and cross-functional projects within fast-paced environments.

You are skilled in website content management systems, Adobe Experience Manager experience being highly regarded. You possess a strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, accessibility standards and digital analytics. Your experience working within Agile environments enables you to confidently coordinate competing priorities, manage delivery timelines and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. With exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail and a customer-centred mindset, you build trusted relationships and influence positive outcomes through insight, collaboration and empathy. You embrace emerging technologies such as generative AI and marketing automation and are motivated by opportunities to create better digital experiences that make a meaningful difference.
