Position Title: Senior Intelligence Translator

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Intelligence Translator reporting to the EM PPS Portfolio Delivery.

A bit about your role

As a Senior Intelligence Translator, you will play a key role in helping Procurement, Property & Supply (PP&S) turn data into meaningful insights that drive better decisions and business outcomes. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Intelligence team, you will partner with leaders to understand strategic priorities, identify opportunities and translate complex business challenges into actionable intelligence solutions.

Working collaboratively across PP&S, Finance, Technology and the broader business, you will design and deliver intuitive dashboards, performance frameworks, visualisations and reporting solutions that enable informed decision-making. You will transform complex data into compelling stories and insights, helping leaders uncover trends, opportunities and risks while creating a stronger culture of data-driven decision-making.

You will also champion the adoption and continuous improvement of intelligence products, ensuring they remain relevant, trusted and impactful. Through strong stakeholder engagement and a focus on delivering practical business value, you will help improve performance, strengthen intelligence capability and support the ongoing evolution of insight-led decision-making across nbn.

A bit about you

An ideal candidate is curious and collaborative analytics professional with experience translating business needs into meaningful intelligence products, reporting solutions and actionable insights within large and complex organisations. You have a strong understanding of business intelligence, performance management, data visualisation and analytics, and enjoy turning complex information into clear, practical recommendations that support decision-making.

You are a confident relationship builder who can engage a diverse range of stakeholders, understand their challenges and influence outcomes through clear communication and evidence-based insights. You have experience developing dashboards, KPI frameworks and reporting solutions, and can effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business leaders by translating complex concepts into accessible business language.

You bring strong analytical thinking, a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for helping others use data with confidence. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, you are motivated by solving problems, uncovering opportunities and delivering intelligence solutions that create measurable value for customers, teams and the business.

Application Process

You may find that your experience does not match every requirement listed but, if this role has piqued your interest or resonates with where you are in your career, we encourage you to apply rather than self-select out.
