Job Expectations

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an Intelligence & Enablement Lead reporting to the Senior Manager Location Data Management

This role sits within the Operations Data Services team and plays a critical role in enabling positive customer activation experiences by ensuring the delivery of accurate location, address and network data across nbn. The team is responsible for supporting customers to easily identify addresses, achieve right-first-time connections and prevent erroneous disconnections through trusted and reliable data outcomes.

A bit about your role

As the Intelligence & Enablement Lead, you will be responsible for driving data-driven enablement initiatives that support the optimisation of critical business processes across nbn's key master data domains. You will play a pivotal role in executing data strategies, enhancing governance practices and delivering insights that enable informed operational and commercial decision making.

Working across a broad stakeholder landscape, you will influence outcomes relating to location, address, serviceability, boundary and network data while ensuring data quality, governance and compliance standards are maintained. You will identify opportunities to improve business performance through data innovation, operational efficiencies and the adoption of modern tools and technologies.

The role will see you lead complex problem solving initiatives, establish self-service reporting and data solutions, and drive continuous improvement across operational processes. You will leverage your analytical expertise to transform complex data into actionable insights while contributing to the strategic priorities of the Operations Data Services team

A bit about you

You are a highly analytical and commercially minded professional with experience working in complex data, analytics or business intelligence environments. You enjoy solving challenging problems, translating data into meaningful insights and influencing stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes.

You bring strong experience working with large datasets, data platforms and visualisation tools, along with a demonstrated ability to lead improvement initiatives in complex operational environments. Your strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills enable you to work effectively across business and technical teams, building trusted relationships and driving alignment on strategic objectives.

You are comfortable operating in a matrixed organisation and have a passion for continuous improvement, innovation and data excellence. Experience in telecommunications, operational data environments or enterprise-scale transformation initiatives will be highly regarded, as will exposure to platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, AWS and other modern analytics technologies.
