A bit about your role
As part of the IT Enablement Value Stream Architecture team, the Senior Solution Architect plays a key strategic leadership role in helping nbn™ realising its strategic intents and identify opportunities for technology and business innovation. This is done through technical direction across various digital and technology web-scale initiatives, a key aspect of this role is to leverage partnerships with delivery, business and technology partners to define the standards and tools to be adopted across the organization in support of the overarching web-scale technology roadmap and strategies.
The Senior Solution Architect will have responsibility for ensuring that the End to End Enterprise level reference architecture relating to Enablement Value Stream is aligned with and supports the specific operational and strategic goals and objectives.
It will be achieved by working on the development of the Enterprise Solution Architecture Reference (ESAR, SAR, Solution Context) within the IT Enablement Value Stream Architecture responsibility and will encompass 2 or more required setting future strategic direction in the following:
- Responsible of Hybrid & Multi-Cloud strategy, technology of choice and roadmap - Primary
- Responsible of Compute, Storage, Network, Database strategy, technology of choice and roadmap - Primary
- Responsible of DevOps Engineering Tooling strategy, technology of choice and roadmap - Primary
- Responsible of Strategic Data & Analytics Architecture, technology of choice and roadmap - Support
- Responsible of API & Integration strategy, technology of choice and roadmap - Support
- Responsible of IT Security strategy, technology of choice and roadmap - Support
The Senior Solution Architect will work very closely with IT Strategy team in developing target enterprise level reference architecture. As part of this position, you will need to define and manage Enablement Architecture evolution roadmap by working with various key stakeholders to ensure the adoption of the architecture direction by the service teams and operations.
The goal is to enable small autonomous teams to deliver faster time to value.
A bit about you
The Senior Solution Architect’s responsibilities and deliverables will extend through all vertical layers of the data architecture framework, E2E integration strategy, Information delivery strategy (through Omni-channel strategy), Security framework and alignment with multi-cloud strategy.
In addition to this, the Senior Solution Architect will have extensive experience IT architecture especially in infrastructure and IT4IT areas with work experience as an Enterprise Infrastructure architect.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure Architecture, IT4IT tools Architecture, multi-cloud architecture eg. On-prem Vmware, AWS, Azure architecture eco-systems, Information and security architecture.
You will have direct experience in implementing multi-cloud infrastructure architecture and solutions, migrating traditional infrastructure to Cloud based infrastructure using AWS, Azure services and roll out the new infrastructure capability to broader business community.
The Senior Solution Architect’s extensive experience will also include working on large scale transformation projects, proven stakeholder management, experience dealing with Senior Executives, industry standard process and data analysis techniques, design patterns and anti-patterns as well as experienced in leading and participating in digital transformation at enterprise level.
