A bit about your role
The Procurement function is a trusted business advisor that enables nbn to secure externally sourced goods and services that provide sustainable value. As a result, the Procurement function needs a strong customer focus, a demonstrated strength in category management and a drive to deliver commercial and sustainable value.
The Network Technology Procurement Team is responsible for planning, sourcing, contracting and governance of suppliers and contracts for network equipment and equipment-related services, required to build and operate nbn’s networks.
The Contract Manager has the responsibility of delivering sustainable procurement value through managing contracts and suppliers. This includes contract implementation, supplier on-boarding and management, supplier governance and contract management for assigned categories of network technologies, equipment, and related services.
The role will also contribute to the achievement of stakeholder business objectives through minor sourcing activities, negotiating commercial matters, and the provision of subject matter expertise.
A bit about you
The ideal person will have the ability to autonomously manage contracts and contract deliverables for assigned strategic categories of network technologies, equipment, and related services; along with expertise in leading and managing supplier performance and operational contracts and procurement activities.
High level experiences in resolving complex commercial issues, by developing resolution and negotiation plans, leading negotiation with internal and external senior executive level participants and managing multiple concurrent commercial maters with individual and multiple stakeholders.
In addition to this, the Contract Manager will be required to draft, negotiate, and agree SOW’s, prepare, and execute contract variations and Engineering change requests.
