A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Senior Analytics Translator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Intelligence Operations & Insights, where you will join Field Operations Intelligence (FOI) professional services team within Field Services business unit.
A bit about your role
The Senior Analytics Translator is responsible for transforming the current operational intelligence ecosystem into a proactive and highly accessible self-service data and information portal for Field Services centred on a premise on Control Dashboards, machine driven alerts and insights framed around real-time/near real-time data.
You will be leading the identification, framing and translation of complex problems, shaping analytical and optimisation solutions with technical teams and championing the change and embedding of outcomes back into the Field ecosystem.
Finally, this role will see you managing the implementation of end-to-end data, optimisation, and analytical insights through the delivery of actionable intelligence to support both operational and strategic business decisions.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will have significant domain knowledge, technical fluency/acumen in optimisation, analytics, problem solving, project management skills to lead an initiative from ideation through production and adoption, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the business savvy to navigate the length and breadth of nbn’s Field ecosystem.
Advanced skills in open-source languages, analytical and visualisation tools are essential. (e.g. Python, Spark, R, Alteryx, Tableau, SPLUNK, Power BI, QlikSense, ArcGIS)
