A bit about your role
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be accountable for delivering high quality ER case management services and provide general support in managing the organisation’s Employee/ Industrial Relations initiatives. Additionally, this role will advise on nbn policy and legislative requirements as they apply to employees. Key requirements will be timeliness, accuracy, and effectiveness.
The role will carry the responsibility of conducting quality workplace investigations in accordance with nbn policy and legislative frameworks, providing specialist ER coaching, strategy, advice, and support to stakeholders, assisting in the application and management of industrial instruments to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Lastly, the role of ER Specialist will support the compilation and analysis of ER metrics and trend analysis information including case management, performance management & disciplinary statistics. Partnering with and coaching appropriate P&C function to address and manage risk associated with all employee matters by applying informal and formal approaches as appropriate.
A bit about you
Proven ability and significant experience in managing complex HR/ER matters up to and including termination. Specifically, undertaking workplace investigations, and overseeing performance and behaviour management processes.
You will have expertise in delivering pragmatic and commercially focused outcomes from complex employee relations cases, influencing and coaching leaders in sensitive employee matters.
Critical to the role is the demonstrated ability to proactively engage and work collaboratively with key stakeholders in relation to managing and progressing investigations and cases.
