Job Summary

As a Solutions Engineering Manager you will lead the Technical Solutions Specialist Team across Australia & New Zealand, utilizing your skills across both people management and your solid understanding of both business and technology strategy. In this role you will have a broad scope of responsibility, owning the development and execution of innovative solution programs that meet customer needs while also aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives. With a focus on building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences, the Solutions Engineering Manager is a key enabler of revenue growth and customer relationship for NetApp.

Job Requirements

  • Lead, grow and mentor ANZ Technical Specialist team.

  • Create alignment with ANZ technical and sales leadership teams on executing NetApp GTM strategy and sales plays.

  • Be the “Super SE” for your team, hands-on, getting involved across new opportunities and playing active part in key account planning activities.

  • Represent NetApp solution differentiation and strategy in customer conversations and EBCs.

  • Drive the education and enablement for your team.

  • Foster strong team identity, drive its value and brand to NetApp internal and external stakeholders.

  • Represent NetApp technology and solutions, act as a thought leader in the ANZ market.

Education

  • A passion and knowledge of Data Centric Workloads and Hybrid Cloud Technologies, Modern Data Lakes and Analytics, Cloud-resident workloads and Cloud Operations.

  • Proven experience with Cloud Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) and their specific architecture

  • Experience leading and mentoring teams of Solution Engineers to achieve success.

  • A passion for delivering innovative technical solutions

  • Provide competitive intelligence on active sales plays and assist with objection handling.

  • Build partner trust and loyalty, by verifying solutions and providing advanced discussions.

  • Excellent Communication skills including advanced technical and strategic discussions.
