The opportunity - Sydney or Melbourne based
Sydney or Melbourne based
Netwealth operates in a complex and highly regulated areas of financial services. As our platform continues to evolve, successfully landing regulatory and business change across teams, systems and processes is critical to delivering strong adviser and client outcomes.
As our Product Change Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving large‑scale, cross‑business change across Netwealth’s platform. Working closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk & Compliance and Distribution, you’ll ensure regulatory and business‑led change is not just delivered, but adopted, embedded and experienced well.
This role exists to bridge the gap between delivery and adoption. You’ll remove regulatory change workload from senior Product leaders, bring structure and discipline to execution, and enable the business to stay ahead of emerging regulatory expectations rather than reacting once they become law. The role reports into the Head of Platform Products.
Key responsibilities
At the core of this role is turning regulatory and business expectations into clear, executable change that lands successfully across the organisation.
Interpret regulatory and industry guidance (ASIC, APRA, Fair Entitlements and others), assess relevance to Netwealth, identify gaps and recommend required changes.
Deliver clear, high‑level impact assessments shortly after guidance is released, enabling proactive and informed decision‑making.
Lead end‑to‑end change execution, partnering with teams across the business to implement process, system and operational changes, while tracking delivery and holding stakeholders accountable.
Drive change adoption, developing and overseeing communication plans, training approaches, stakeholder engagement and adoption metrics.
Ensure change outcomes deliver strong customer and adviser experience, recognising that compliant processes should also be intuitive, efficient and well adopted.
About you
You’re a delivery‑focused change professional who understands how to navigate regulation without losing momentum. You bring structure, clarity and confidence to complex environments, and you’re comfortable influencing across teams without formal authority.
Strong project and change management experience, with a proven track record delivering regulatory change in financial services.
Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations, with the judgement to avoid solutions that create risk or undermine governance.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional change, coordinating multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Highly effective communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and “wrangle the cats” required to land complex change.
Experienced in driving adoption and embedded change, not just execution, ensuring initiatives are understood, used and sustained.
